My Story

Hi, I'm Natalie. Welcome to my dream come true. I am a Licensed Esthetician with a passion for treating complex skin concerns such as acne and pigmentation. My main focus is to provide real results with integrity. The mind-body-spirit connection plays a huge role in my practice. Every appointment goes beyond skincare, this is your space to relax, rest, and find your confidence. This is my story.

I was 3 months into college, pursuing  a career in dental hygiene, when I realized I wasn't happy doing that at all. I was failing most of my classes and had to literally drag myself to class. I took some time to think about it, and told my mom I wanted to drop out... on our way to a concert... surprisingly, she took it well (maybe because I purposely waited for the perfect time). So I started working 40 hours a week, saving everything I could while I researched what I wanted to do with my life.

"Esthetician," I had heard that word before, but never really knew what it meant. So I looked into it and turns out, THAT was what I had been looking for my whole high school career. I was always very into taking care of my skin. Giving my friends facials at sleepovers, always giving unsolicited skincare advice, researching different products and ingredients. And there it was. Under my nose this whole time.

So I started my search for a school. "Paul Mitchell The School Missouri Columbia," a 750hr program that cost my entire life savings... After much encouragement from my family and a lot of planning and support, I decided that was my next step.

If you have ever seen Greys Anatomy, you know how Christina was. Yeah, that was me in class. Sitting at the edge of my chair, anticipating the next question, doing my homework as if it was a hobby (it was). And I ended up in the Phase 2 Honors Program, graduating at the top of my class, and a whole 2 weeks early! For the first time in my (very early) adult life, I had a purpose. I knew exactly what I wanted. I felt like me.

I then passed my state board exams with flying colors and started working. I have always wanted to open my own spot, but I took my first year to learn the ropes. Now I am here, bringing that dream to life. I would not be here if it weren't for all of you. So thank you for being here, thank you for spending your days off with me, thank you for letting me care for your skin, thank you for trusting me, and thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my story. I'll see you in the treatment room! ;)
